Description: Capture cabinet is a bespoke drinks cabinet with the additional feature of a pinhole camera. It is designed as a cabinet of curiosities that instead of being defined byits contents, embodies a story in itself.

The interior design of the cabinet consists of an intricate pattern of mouldings, which are only revealed when the doors are opened.

The lower quarter of the cabinet consists of a drawer for tumblers and other glasses.

Due to its unusual shape, the cabinet can be taken apart in three components, to simplify transport and shipping.

This piece give an idea of Kai's design language and aesthetic that can be applied to any other project on request.

Kai Reichert

Kai was born and grew up in Southern Germany and began her close associated with the Netherlands when she started her BA/Fine Arts degree at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam in 2000. After Rietveld Kai worked for many years in the Art and museum sector.
