Draumr's wooden bowls are hand-turned from a single, solid piece of wood, making each bowl a unique masterpiece of nature and craftsmanship. Our makers carefully select logs and blocks of wood, such as oak, walnut, or maple, where the shape, grain, and color of the wood already tell part of the final story. During the woodturning process, the raw block is slowly brought to life: layer by layer, until a bowl is created that is both sculptural and functional.

Because each bowl is made from a single piece, the original grain of the wood remains intact. Knots, growth rings, and natural color variations are not imperfections, but the tree's signature. The result is an object that is not only beautiful to look at but also feels wonderful, warm, and vibrant. The finish is done with natural oil or wax, allowing the wood to continue to breathe and only becoming more beautiful over time.

A wooden bowl from the Draumr collection is more than just a utilitarian object. It's a piece of art that enhances your table, a meaningful gift, or a timeless detail in your home. Made by Otto Koedijk or Rick Blauw in small editions, with respect for materials and tradition. For anyone who chooses craftsmanship over mass production and storytelling over perfection.
