Draumr's handmade teapots are designed as functional art objects. Each teapot is crafted with care and attention by our makers, Sarah Michael and Sepideh Jahanpanah, each bringing their own unique approach to ceramic forms and techniques. The result is a collection of teapots that are as pleasant to use as they are aesthetically meaningful and, in Sarah's case, also humorous.

Sarah Michael's wheel-thrown teapots are characterized by their rounded shapes, subtle glazes, and, above all, her humorous approach. Her wheel-thrown ceramic teapots carry a message that brings a smile to the user. The lids fit snugly, the handles are comfortable to hold, and the spouts are designed for a smooth pour. These are teapots that combine everyday functionality with humor and timeless design.

Sepideh Jahanpanah's kurinuki teapots have a completely different character: more sculptural, more earthy, and full of visible traces of their craftsmanship. Carved from a single block of clay, these teapots have a powerful, almost meditative presence. Every facet, every cut, reveals something about the process of making them. These kurinuki teapots become objects that lie somewhere between utility and artwork, an invitation to slow down, to look, and to savor.

Whether you choose fluid elegance with a touch of humor or a rough, hand-hewn texture, each Draumr ceramic teapot is a unique piece of craftsmanship that can last for generations. They invite mindfulness, tranquility, and the celebration of the small things of everyday life with a smile.
