Draumr's ceramic jugs and vases create a harmonious balance between functionality and art. Each piece is handcrafted by our artisans, Sarah Michael and Sepideh Jahanpanah, each with their own signature style and technique. From flowing, turned jugs to powerful, sculptural kurinuki vases, these objects are designed to be used as well as admired.

Sarah Michael's jugs and vases are formed on the potter's wheel. Her wheel-thrown ceramics are known for their humorous approach, soft curves, and layered glazes. These pieces exude humor and a nod to reality. Whether filled with flowers or simply displayed as standalone design objects, they always add a humorous presence to your interior and inspire conversation.

Sepideh Jahanpanah's vases and jugs, on the other hand, are made using the kurinuki technique. A solid block of clay is carved with a gouge and knife into an object with an almost sculptural feel. Each kurinuki ceramic piece displays visible traces of the process, allowing the character and energy of the maker to be felt. The shapes are raw, powerful, and unique—the kind of object that adds an artistic statement to any interior.

Whether you choose a subtly humorous or a robust kurinuki vase, each creation is a unique, handmade ceramic object that will last for generations. This collection perfectly reflects what Draumr stands for: authentic craftsmanship, timeless design, and a deep connection between maker and material.
