The oval table is called "Schragen" (Trestles), named after the original table type: a tabletop resting on two trestles. We've translated this principle into the atmosphere you experience when you hear the force of wind-powered saws through the groaning and moaning of the mill. The oval shape is a shape that, according to etiquette, knows no place; there's no head at the table, no end or middle; everyone at the table is equal. A Burgundian foundation.
